Loosethreds Creative was born from love—love for my grandmother, love for the art of quilting, and love for creating beautiful things that last.

A Legacy of Teaching and Creating

My grandmother was an award-winning quilt maker and early childhood educator who touched countless lives through her gentle teaching and extraordinary craftsmanship. She didn't just teach me how to quilt—she taught me why it matters. Every stitch carries a story. Every piece holds a memory. Every creation connects us to generations past and future.

From my early twenties, I've been working with fabric as my medium, learning and teaching how to make beautiful things to wear, treasures for the home, and meaningful gifts for others.

At Loosethreds Creative, I honor my grandmother's legacy in two ways:

Handmade Treasures: I transform vintage quilts into one-of-a-kind pieces and create new items with timeless farmhouse charm. Each piece is carefully crafted to be loved, used, and passed down through generations—just like the quilts that inspired them.

DIY Courses: I share the joy of creating through accessible, inspiring courses that teach you those cherished "old" skills. Whether you're repurposing vintage textiles or crafting new heirlooms, I'll guide you through the process with the patience and care my grandmother showed me.
